My dear friend Autumn as well as thunderbear and dooders,
I think it may be the anxiety that's probably accompanying your depression. I too have been the same way though it was when we were buying our house in May/June. My poor wife....
Often it happens to me and I have to try to remind myself that no matter what, my worrying will only cause me to feel worse, my blood pressure to increase, and could end up being a self-fulfilling prophecy. It's times like these when the feelings are just so intense that I try to engage in a breathing meditation technique that's designed to focus the mind on the simple but necessary act of breathing. When it comes down to it, everything that happens outside of me is beyond my capacity to control or change. Feel the flow of air going in through your nose and filling your lungs, then feel the air leaving the lungs, and being exhaled from your mouth. No matter what else happens, let the thoughts come and go and return to concentrating on breathing. Often this helps to quiet my raucous mind.
I hope that helps you my friend and I know you've been in a lot of pain recently. Know that I care and wish you at least 1 bright and sunny beam upon your face each day.

Chris
