Rohag is right. There is a difference between being a friend and being a therapist, even if your therapist might really, really like you. Part of this is because if they start to value the relationship beyond helping you, then they might not be able to do the difficult things like confronting you or having to send you to the hospital, or showing you a faulty line of reasoning, because then you might get mad. If they keep distance, they would beable to help you in a different, more suitable way than if you weere friends. Don't assume she doesn't like you ariesmars. She probably does. You are just very lucky to have an ethical therapist.
