I miss being with a woman. I am sort of a recluse these days due to my “illness” and for the most part I am alright with that but I still long for the companionship of a woman. It is beyond the physical though I cannot sit here and honestly say I don’t miss the lovemaking because I do.
I miss those “in between” moments…those moments we snap as a frame to memory that capture the way she curls her lips in a smile or the sound her throat makes in a laugh or even the subtle way her hair falls to her face.
I miss those moments.
Perhaps throughout all of this mess I may be human after all.
