Hi Lisa. I'm also on citalopram and suffer optical migraines which are flashing lights but don't usually leave a headache. Otherwise it is quite possible you were dreaming, it is common to wake whilst still having a 'lingering' dream .... I hope it doesn't happen to you again, take care, Ophelia x
