Emoangel,
My daughter had a similar problem last year so I can really understand how frustrating this can be for you---you would not believe the countless times I got a phone call saying "MOMMMMMMMM!!!!"haha
My suggestion to her was to talk to her roomate and to see if they could work out an understanding about her need for quiet study time and her roomie's need for social time in their little shoebox pretending to be a room!!
They soon were able to work out a system where if one was studying the other would socialize elsewhere and vice versa. It was all about communicating their needs to each other and sometimes adjusting and being tolerant----neither one of these girls had ever shared a room with anyone before so that in itself was a BIG adjustment!
If you and your roomate could work out a similar system I am sure it would be helpful----if you can't work it out on your own, perhaps the two of you could go to the RA and ask for help in resolving the situation.
But above all remember to communicate your needs to each other! College is about learning to deal with people from all walks of life and getting ready to go out into the big bad world!!

The academics is only a fraction of the lessons to be learned from the experience---the social aspect is usually much more valuable sometimes than the academics. Enjoy this experience and learn everything you can from it!!
Take care and God bless!! Deanna
