I usually just try to not judge people by the clothes they are wearing. I think about it like this; I wear what I am comfortable wearing, alot of times it's a white t-shirt and jeans, but sometimes I'll wear polos w/ jeans or shorts. Sometimes Button down shirts with jeans, shorts, or slacks. If there is someone I want to get to know, I'll talk to them. If their attitude and personality are compatible with mine, then we can become friends. Sometimes it can go further. Your life experiences, morals, values, and emotions make you who you are, not your clothes, or your material (no pun intended) possesions.
It's kind of funny actually, Sometimes I'll go to a bar to look for women. With this reasoning. If they are hanging all over people or me, then they are probably not going to work out with me. I go to look for the responsible ones, the ones who have a beer or two, or what ever and can still be under control, and responsible.
