Hello, my name is Rachel. I am 23 years old.
Every since I was 17. I started seeing shadows at night. From 1- a party full. Usually this happens after I have fallen asleep, but haven't realized I have.
My grandma told my mom I was trying to sneak out, but really I was trying to find where these shadows went when I finally woken.
It's like a sleep walk. But I remember everything I'm doing, but can't stop myself because I don't realize it's not real.
As time goes by, these shadows start having voices. I can't understand them, but I hear them talking. Not to me, but to others.
Then as more time goes, they start having colors. I start seeing what they are wearing. Some have uniforms on. I start telling them to leave. I have even gotten up to put a note on my chain locked door telling them not to come in.
Sometimes it happens several times a week. And sometimes it doesn't happen for a few months.
Sometimes I am scared that the person next to me isn't my husband. So I will get up, put my clothes on and get back to bed. Or I will lay there as far on the bed as I can be, and just wait it out till I realize it's him.
I also have instances where I see eyes or white dots above me. While I'm trying to sleep. I get paralized. I start breathing REALLY fast. Last about a min, then it's gone. One time this happend, my hands were on my chest, my cat was on my chest. When the lights went away, I could breathe again. I woke, but I thought I was already awake, so it was like I was just blinking my eyes. Anyways, when I woke, my hands and cat were on my chest, just like it was when the terror happend. These terrors have only happend 2x.
One time when I was trying to fall asleep, I felt a big gust of wind in my ear, I also felt my hair go up. My mom told me that long ago, there was a woman murdered by a jealous husband in the comlex that I was living in at that time. I'm starting to wonder if she got a blow to the head.
What are these? I went to a doc and they gave me risperdol, it didn't work. But she didn't even diagnose me.
