You know......
I feel that ANY man, regardless of the situation, should not "comment" on their woman's physical if it isn't positive. (Although, sure, negative verbal comments should not be said by anyone), but for some reason, men just don't "get it". And they have this carelessness about them where they aren't even aware that they've overstepped the boundary by hurting his woman's feelings.
I have a weight problem, however, mine is underweight by at least 25 pounds. At my worst, when feeling fatigued, I look like death warmed over. My ex would make his clueless comments, completely unaware that they were hurtful. Granted, sometimes they weren't intentional, but despite that, they hurt, nonetheless....and the comments STICK.
There's little worse than to have the man who 'loves' you stab at you and he's not even aware of it....?
I'm sorry for any of you who must experience that sense of feeling undesirable. It's an awful thing for anyone to have to experience.
Grats again to you Michele for attending to your physical.
Don't overdo now, you hear?
