I had problems with sleeping all the time too (I still do when the depression's bad). I've found that it helps to put my alarm clock somewhere far enough away that I have to physically get out of bed to turn it off. Fresh air has always helped too, even if all I can manage is sitting on my front step.

Are you on medication of any kind, whether for depression, a cold, pain, etc.? Some medications can make you really sleepy and it can be harder to get up and get going if you're affected. Just a thought.
