Those are the shears that look like they have big chunky teeth. What they do is texturize your hair. They cause your hair to lift itself without having to use a lot of texurizer product. Therefore, you get the lift without a lot of product in your hair. Make sure you leave the salon knowing exactly what the stylist did and that you feel confident that you can reproduce it yourself.
