wow!!! i dont know how much help i can offer but i can tell you that you sound exactly like me!! i wasnt ever 'diagnosed' with adhd til high school, never did anything about it, but EVERYONE tells me i have it and i am always having to make fun of myself or laugh it off when others point out my flaws like being spacy, forgetting things, being slow, etc. all of that. i am 21 and i will agree that adhd gets much harder as you get older. it is almost like it is somewhat accepted when you are a kid; you can be the class clown/ whatever and thats ok, yet as you get older so much more is expected of you and people are less tolerant of you being late or forgetful or inattentive or jittery. i am experiecing those same problems and i'm finding it increasingly hard to adjust. the only advice i can give, since i clearly struggle with the same problems (also have a hard time reading) is to try to take it one task at a time, one day at a time. i am trying to do that in my life now. i have so much that i want to get done but instead of trying to do everything at once i am trying to work on one thing at a time. it is definitely a process but there is hope. i think add tags is just something you can add to let ppl know what your post is about. but anyway, know that you are not alone! =)
