I have PMDD and it is as you described and before I went on Celexa for PMDD I use to become suicidal one week out of every month, usually three days before my period and lasting three days into my period (give or take a day).

PMDD does sound a lot like my symptoms only I can get it up to two weeks before the period and it lasts a few days of my period.

Last two hospital stays my insurance declined payment. I don't know what too do. I'm afraid not to go in. Even when I'm not expecting my period I get afraid of me. The total very fast drop into suicidal depression happens so quickly that I have trouble controlling it.

I met with my new psychiatrist this morning. I like her and she listened. Upped some meds but didn't want to deal with the mood swings for another month. She wants to see if there is improvement with the new increases.

I feel positive about this doctor.
