The doctors have been increasing my dose for months now. I'm up to 12 mg and I believe I have reached a plateau. I am not hearing the voices as often now. The voices are almost gone in fact. My paranoia is reduced, but I still have it sometimes. I think the medicine is helping, but the medicine may never make all the symptoms go away. I am thankful for what it is doing for me. Life before, was a scary thing.
Anyway, I hope the increase helps you. I started out with risperadol, but now I'm taking Invega. It's almost the same medicine, just Invega is extended release. Good luck
