I really enjoy getting my hair cut and colored every three months.

But I feel very uncomfortable and cannot relax when the hairstylist is cutting my hair or coloring it. I become all tense inside. I can't even smile.

I was abused as a child and young adult...could this have something to do with it?

I just feel uncomfortable having someone so close to my head for the length of time it takes to have your hair cut, colored, and washed.
