You can read the story here

A search for meaning:
The story of Rex
early one morning
Rex went searching for meaning
He looked on top
of every rock
Big and small
and even the ones he thought
were too tall
He looked on a rock
shaped like a tree
and went to the highest place
it could possibly be
A sudden gust of wind
started the trip
A journey so weird
it would almost be hip
He went by air, by flight and by sea
to a place where
he could hardly see
In there, he had the strangest sensation
and a complete sense of isolation
When he came out
of the mess
he met a cluster
of spineless
(who were all ears)
They gave him attention
but little or no direction
He met the spikes
who taught
him fear
and told him
never again
to come near
He braved the darkness
With the horror it entails
and saw comets shattering
its entrails
He met the desperate, the mad, and the wise
And went through
insanity
at least twice
But yet he kept on
searching
and searching
and searching
until...
he found a ribbon of truth unfolding
and caught it with a jump and a swing
There wasn't much there for him to read
but it still gave him an excellent lead
Meaning, he had learned, was nowhere in sight
For the answers he sought were always inside
And so Rex knew the journey he began
would surely last an entire life span
