Fortunately, Lamictal has not caused any additional weight gain, in fact I had gained more (was up to 152lbs. ) during the time before switching to the Lamictal, once I switched to Lamictal I had lost most of the medication related weight gain, now the weight gain I have had over the last couple of years iw of my own doing, lack of exercise, and being middle aged, doesn't help.
