I voted I don’t know. I would try to drop those who have befriended me a note to let them know what was going on. I don’t know that I would write a general post to everyone but then again I am fairly new and don’t think a lot of people even know much about me.
That being said, sometimes we have good reason for not contacting our friends online. A few years back I was online and the whitecoats came and took me away. I could not tell anyone where I was including close friends because I was in hospital having a psychotic episode. When I returned (between hospitalizations) I decided to pull my blog without telling anyone what happened. I thought I was being ordered to do so by aliens who were tapping into my mind. I also had paranoid thoughts regarding some of the people I had come in contact with. Some of my fellow bloggers were not too pleased by my sudden exit. I felt horrible about it then but now I say too bad. I was in serious distress and did all I could to maintain myself.
