I don't like that schedule at all. It's pretty horrible
I'm not sure how to make it better, other than what you're doing - trying to get cheap flights, trying to make it more worth it.

It's not "your fault" either. It's a mix of things (the school making this schedule, you being far from home, travel being expensive, you LOVING going home) that make this so hard. It's good that you want to go home for a bit, though it's a burden I'm sure your parents would at least be happy to see you.
