I tend to always push people away when I'm depressed. I have a habit of doing that a lot actually. I would like to think that if they're a good friend, then they will give you the space/time you need and eventually come back (if they know you suffer from an illness). But it's a two-way street as well. I tend to feel bad pushing people away. Half the time, I don't expect them to come back.
