I have PMDD and it is as you described and before I went on Celexa for PMDD I use to become suicidal one week out of every month, usually three days before my period and lasting three days into my period (give or take a day).

Thanks for your post.

I was released earlier this evening from a 3 night hospital stay. Not going into detail but my thoughts were very violent. My period is due on 3rd of December.

The psychicatrist stopped prescribing all anti depressants for me, I took three different ones. He claimed that some bipolar women get more agitated when hormonal and anti depressants can cause some women (like me) with rage or anger during hormonal changes become more so. I will most definitely move on to PMDD
