I read this joke today and I found it to very funny.... in a humorous way it is showing the great length some people will go to - - - to NOT be single.

Looking For Love

An older lady was sitting on a park bench, in a local adult community, when a man walked up and sit down on the other end of the beach.
After a few moments the woman asked: Are you a stranger to here?
He replies: I lived here years ago.
She replies: So, where were you all these years? In prison says the man.
Why did they put you in prison? He looked at her and very quietly said: I killed my wife.

Oh! said the woman - So you are single...?!
