Thanks. I appreciate your appreciation. Actually, the analogy that usually comes to mind is that therapy is like a shoe store that has lots of different styles of shoes -- but they are all the same size, and that size doesn't fit me. But while writing the post, the new one popped into my mind. They both pretty much get the idea across. Well, not entirely. The shoe store analogy has an extension: That when I tell the shoe salesman that I don't wear that size, he says with a look of indignation, "But most people wear this size!"
