When I'm following a thread and the latest post is at or near the top of a new page, I usually go back to the last post that I've already read in order to make sure that I don't miss any in between.

The only way I know to back up from the top of Page 2, though, is to click on the "Page 1" link -- which takes me to the top of Page 1, not the bottom where the posts are that I'm looking for. Is there (or could there be) any way to back up by one post, not one whole page?
