My therapist and I have a great relationship. We are so in tune with each other, there are boundaries of course but to me she is a true angel and I really believe that someone was looking after me at the time I needed help so badly

Today we were talking about my inner child as I've had a few dreams recently and she was helping me to interpret them. We somehow got onto the subject of there not being any help for small children who are abused in this country,. They have no one to talk to in foster care or even if they go on to be adopted. I said to my therapist I'd love to do my degree and go on to do something about that, starting in Derbyshire where we live. She said that from her heart if I did my training she thinks I'll make a great psychotherapist and also said if I wanted to start a scheme in schools she would be right there helping me and joining me in trying to make a difference to abused children ... this is a dream of mine and she has really inspired me to get a move on with my training ... I just had to share this news, I'm so happy. I think this is what I was put on this earth for, this is my vocation ..... thank you for listening .... *contented sigh*.
