I wonder if it's because of the strong antibiotics you've been on?? Many women do have increased breast tenderness during the last 2 weeks before their cycle - but it usually happens every month and goes away. What you describe doesn't sound typical for you and it it doesn't go away, you should mention it to your doctor. Salt and high caffiene levels can also increase breast tenderness. Don't know if this is an appropriate question, but could you be expecting? Some antibiotics can make birth control pills ineffective. Hope you feel better TBear
