This time of year is the worst for me.....everything that has been bad in my life has happened between now & the end of January.....but I don't look at Christmas that way. I hold the celebration of the true meaning of Christmas & celebrate the only reason for the holiday in the first place. It isn't about giving presents or getting anything even though that is a nice aspect of the holiday if you can afford it. My gift if at all are baked goodies & beaded jewelry that I make a little here & there.....but my celebration starts with Advent & focusing on the preparation spiritually for Christmas along with the celebration of walking through that time even after the actual Christmas day celebration.

I find that when my focus in only on that & none of the other non spiritual aspects of Christmas, it makes the Bah humbug go completely away.

Heaven knows, I have enough going on for Scruge to overflow this year & all the years past......but he has no place in my Christmas celebration.
