I would think it is normal. Divorce is a loss. A loss of a marriage.

Length is stages probably depends on the person, much like "normal" grief. The five stages of grief probably work for divorce too (Denial and Isolation, Anger, Bargaining, Depression, and Acceptance).

No advice to give...but it sounds perfectly normal to me to grieve for your marriage. Good luck to you. Take care of you.
