I'm new too. A friend with DID showed me this site today and I have not been able to take myself away from it. I knew that I had DID before my Psychiatrist did I just didn't know that it was called DID.I was experiencing internal conversations and child like behaviors. 2 years later my Doctor gave it the name of DID. I have had this Disorder for some time now but I can't always control when I switch to another Alter. I think that the both of us will get a lot of support here.
