Thank you for posting and sharing how you are feeling. You do have the right to feeling what you are feeling. Yes, you have good things to think about. We all have good things to think about. I have many good things to think about, things that I am very thankful for.
But depression does not care about those things. It brings all those things that we would not like to think of and weighs them heavy upon our hearts. But that does not make you a bad person. What you feel is your feelings. And I validate you for those.
Depression wants us to get down on ourselves for having feelings. And it does not matter who it hits. Sometimes it takes thinking of the sad things to make us realize the good things we have. Then we can find strength to pick ourselves up and defeat the depression.
It is not easy. It takes time. You are not alone. We are here and listening and will walk with you through this. Just keep reaching out and sharing with us. Depression does not want us to reach out. It wants us to feel really bad and to close down and shut off.
When we do that it has us in its grips. Do not let it hold you. Keep reaching, keep posting. Please take care of you. Remember to breathe and do something kind for you. You are worth it.
