We are short of money again however second hand things are brilliant.

We bought a £110 remote tony hawks skate border for my 20 year old for £25 its brand new and still in its box.

We bought a second hand wood swing set which needs repainting thats it ! It was £600 we paid £100. for my daughter who is 8 and youngest son who is 5.

We bought a second hand quad bike original price £1300 we paid £300 only used two or three times needs the footwell repainted ! for the older two boys aged 12 and 10.

We are always short of money and I so love Christmas I saved up all year for it.

I cant wait for Christmas I know lots of people on here have very little (the same the world over) however if you shop around and save through the year you can still have a great time.

There is nothing wrong with second hand stuff I should know I get it most of the time as we are on benefits and with Six kids (two have left home as they are older) but four young ones here its hard to make money stretch so shop around !

Great dinner and having all the family around (they dare not be here as I am so hot on Christmas and they know it lol)

Who needs birthdays !
Thanks for this!
