Again, thanks for prayers and postings ! Unfortunately, MacKenzie is still at UVA in isolation. They have gone from diagnoses of "nothing wrong with her", "possible menengitis (never did spinal tap)", "probable GERD", and this AM have said it seems to be something wrong with her trachea. Yesterday her oxygen level would drop to the 70's during a coughing spell, and the coughing has gotten much worse since I saw her Sunday. I am going bonkers - can't see her - and if her Mom comes out of the isolation room, she has to take a shower before going back in - so its not worth the trouble for her to come out of room to know anyone is there ! No one has told her when they are going to DO something to actually figure out what is wrong. I always thought UVA was a great place to be - but I now wonder. Yesterday ONE Doctor came in room the entire day. What a mess ! Son working all day, and then tries to stay awake when needed during night to allow Mom to get some sleep. WHY a precious innocent baby???
