[quote=amandalouise;1215308]there is medications for some problems like depression and anxiety but there are no medications for DID so right there you can relax a little bit. I have a question is there a reason why a community (town/city/neighborhood) full of people must know you are DID? Ive lived in a couple different towns and no one was told that I have DID before I wasn't integrated and no one was told after I was integrated.
.... about three years ago we had a public panic attack. WE had a small part stuck under our truck it took three guys we trusted to talks us out. the sad part it went through town like wild fire. and open a can of worms for us. Now we want peace but few here accept us because of the rumors. We even had different churches trying to do exersims on us. so we have had to live down being demon possessed to schizo to being the town harlot. that is why it has been so hard on all of us and my son. It was not until my son turn 15 that cps told everybody to shut up they could not prove anything and what they were dong was harasement. Now that my son is living with a good friend they leave him alone and that I know he safe I have been able to calm my parts down. It is amasing what bigotry will make people do to anther person for the sake of socail standing. Do you know the old saying that you can not have a coin unless it has both sides. well the good side is we were force to face our past and heal the sad part is now the community is having a hard time letting go of lies and rumors that made my life h*ll. Our few friends that we have felt lost to us. they say they are still here but at times we still feel lonely fro what happened to us.
