I often have lucid dreams where I am right about to die from something (either it be a car crash, fire, etc).. but the weird thing is.. in my dream I always know I'm going to die and then when the collision or explosion happens, everything goes black and I instantly wake up with a startle. I wake up as soon as I 'die' every single time with my heart pounding. It's very bizarre.
