We do have quiet hours, they begin at 10pm. This guy thinks he's exempt because 1) he's on the villiage board and 2) it's the holidays and he's celebrating. When I first started complaining about this FIVE YEARS ago, the police actually said "well it doesn't bother their neighbors why is it bothering you. (I live across the street and one house down). I walked into the bedroom with my phone and said "do you hear that? This is what I have to listen to 24 hours a day! It's getting on my nerves."

Last night at 10:30 I turned on my light and started to dial the non-emergency number and the music shut off. So maybe I won't have to complain this year. I'll see if turning my bedroom light on at 10 prompts him to turn the stupid thing off.
