Hey there!!
Suggestion....
If it's okay for him....it's okay for you!!
Find the most irritating, nauseating Holiday music you can find....like maybe something with bag pipes, hook up some speakers inside your windows, Open the windows, throw up a string of lights on your Porch and every night at 9:58 pm, turn it on and turn it up loud. This will surely annoy all of the neighbors, including the one that is annoying you, and at that point the police/city will be forced to get involved and tell everyone to keep it quiet. They won't just be able to tell you, if they tried that you could just state you were celebrating like your neighbor across the way. Then if they ganged up on you you could report it as discrimination.
I bet they wouldn't tolerate it for longer than one night before they complained.
So if you can tolerate a sleepless night manning your own atrocious music....I say go for it. Let's have one set of rules for the community. Not a set of rules for those that are on the village board and a set for others.
