Another thing to keep in mind is that periods for teenagers can be erratic. Especially if yours didn't start too long ago. If you don't find your symptoms resolving and you can't get an answer from your doc you might want to ask for a referral to a ob/gyn for a more thorough evaluation. Good luck.
