Hi I am new here just joined yesterday. I have bipolar1 and am taking 300mg of Lemictal and 15mg of Abilify.

Does anyone else take Abilify and how do they feel about it and like it.

I had a gastric bypass almost 5 months ago and had 2 suicidal attempts since then, the last one was 6 weeks ago and they FINALLY figured out that my body was not absorbing the Geodon because as of those who take it know that it needs to be taken with at least 500 calories my problem was i was only getting 500 for the entire day, so no absorption. SO they put me on a very low dose of Abilify instead, i have noticed positive change but i know its not all the Abilify but the cognitive weekly therapy sessions and feeling good about myself as i go loosing more and more weight.
