This is actually pretty normal for some Ts. Some prefer to be as completely anonymous as possible, but having professional stuff on the web is okay -- it's actually okay to ask your T all of that if you want to know -- like, where did you go to school? What is your experience? What is your expertise? Having that stuff on a website is professionally okay.

Where I work (which is a mental health clinic), my boss's stuff is all online -- specialties, publications, his resume, picture, everything. I work at a University clinic, so that is pretty common -- all of the T's have at least some info on research interests and specialties, as well as the schools they went to and their experience.

I am weirded out that I found info about my T online that was personal -- I now know her birthdate, parents' names, sister's name, the fact that her dad died when she was 14.. I know all of that from a web search. Kinda weird-feeling.. I feel guilty, like I spied on her or something.

But she also has a website with lots of info on her professionally. I don't feel guilty for visiting her website. Sometimes I go there just to look at her picture because it calms me down.
