I'm glad you're proud of your son TBear. I realize your dilema about the hitting issue, but it's a cruel world out there and kids can sometimes be very cruel. I've always told my daughters it's best to try to solve bullying in non violent ways but sometimes a child has to use their own judgement. Your son also proved that family loyalty is important regardless of any past problems with his brother.
