Purging will hurt you, and it will cause damage, even if you don't do it so frequently that you actually have bulimia.
I don't meet the criteria for any eating disorders, since I weigh what I ought to, and also don't purge in such a way that I could be considered bulimic, and neither do I binge, but I have self-destructive eating patterns, and my T gets after me about "eating disorder behaviors." If your T really feels that you have an eating disorder but don't meet the criteria, either because your pattern is different from the crieria or maybe your eating disorder isn't quite to that level, they can still diagnose you with "Eating Disorder NOS" for not otherwise specified. Mine continues to mention eating disorder, and I just restrict my intake a little, and exercize a lot or use diet products if I think that I ate more than I should have. For me it's just one more extension of my general self-destructiveness.
Please take care of yourself and don't purge, even just once in a while. It can still hurt you, and can also develop into something worse, especially when you have other mental health issues too, like bp.
The quizzes are just a collection of guidelines, also - they are not the final word on anything - so if you have concerns, you should go ahead and talk to your T or your doctor about them, regardless of what the quiz says.
