Many people here on these boards are comfortable sharing personal information as most of these forums are not searchable by indexed search engines, although Yahoo! did show a couple posts last check That is fine if they are the ones choosing to share their information.

Other people, like ourselves, lean toward the private side. We're here on these forums to learn and to support as best we are able. We're not here to defend our right to privacy. Our expectation of privacy isn't naive yet we also never expected some of the things that occured. From the history of abuse we've endured we've been habituated to the beliefs of not having the right to ask for help or not being believed when we bring evidence forth. With much therapy we're working on retraining our automatic goto thought of nobody cares or will help.

So imagine being so separated from one's own selves that the hurts of one are not known by the rest. Imagine going about your life and then being whammied by pain you never knew existed and don't understand. Imagine the frustration of assembling this puzzle without the boxtop as a guide. If you can imagine that then you have glimpsed into our lives.

We took some much needed time off, sadly the timing wasn't of our choosing but such is life, and we were very touched by the kind words said. Our apologies for the sudden departure but as a work in progress we can only do what we know is safest for the system and that meant to pull back and away from whatever caused one of ours so much pain.
