I don't think I would have phrased it that way -an alter having alters- but it does seem to work for some, doesn't it?
Not only can you have fragmentations, but there's also a possibility that alters formed around the same time in your life, or even at different times for the same "purpose" or type of event, that they might be clustered closer together and share information only within that structure.
It's all ok though, it's all you.
