I totally understand your medication fears. I am going through several med changes and it is frustrating. I am one of those rare side effects people. I get the one in ont thousand reactions to meds. So far I have been on Topamax, (Bad reaction) Trileptal (still taking it, but it doesn't cover well enough) Lamictal, (Bad reaction) Prozac (currently) Seroquel (currently), Ativan, (Bad reaction), Klonopin, (Bad reaction), Trazodone, (did nothing), Abilify (Bad reaction) Wellbutrin (bad reaction). Well, this isn't encouracing to you at all... I'll get to my point...

I am going to keep trying although it's frustrating. I have a good psychiatrist now, so we are being more aggressive to get me stable.

BTW, I just came out of a manic episode as well. I managed to keep myself out of danger, but I am exhausted. The people at this site have been great at supporting me and keeping reality in check.
