Have you ever charted your moods? Check online for bipolar mood charts. There are a variety out there. It would be a way of concretely communicating to your pdoc where your moods are, what you consider within normal, and where it changes into a bipolar shift. You and your pdoc can discuss the chart and different levels of mood. It can really be a valuable tool for your pdoc. And it's also a great way to get in touch with your own moods. You'll start to see patterns. You'll learn to recognize when your sliding. Might be something to try.
