At least with Mobile Crisis you are in the comfort of your own home. However--I don't see inpatient as being to bad. I did it when I was a kid--Never as an adult. I didn't like the childrens home when I was younger, I just wanted to be left alone. Now that I'm an adult and more aware of my feelings, sometimes I think I should seek inpatient treatment.

If you tough it out with mobile crisis, they shouldn't advise you to inpatient. However on the contrary, if you are thinking about hurting yourself or anyone else---Inpatient IS the best place. You can get the round the clock help you potentially need. Good luck
