I was on Wellbutrin by itself initially and it would work great for about 3 weeks and then just stop working... like it hit a ceiling. I maxed out the dose and it still hit a ceiling. That being said, it's an antidepressant that is not known for many side effects but it's also not an overly powerful one. It is most typically used in combination with other meds (ADs, mood stabilizers) so it sounds like you're right on track there. It very well may give you the extra little boost you're needing right now. Indeed I hope it does. I never had any side effects at all from it. It's definitely not supposed to make you tired so that's a good thing. Hopefully you'll find like me that it helps a little bit without many side effects.
