#1) Do you honestly trust any one else to raise Jer, other than you?
2) Jers High School Graduation
3) Grandbabies
4) Jers Prom.
5) The love of your life.
6) Teaching Jer to drive.
7) The possibility of Jer having siblings.
It is endless really!! 
I know that right now sucks for you...and I'm sooo sorry!!
I ask you though to take a few minutes and really think about what your long term goals are. Write them down if you need to see them now and then. What do you long to do with your life? Do you want to go back to school to get a degree, do you want to travel to wonderful places, or have more children? Maybe these things can't happen right away...but they can happen!!
Remember sweetie....right now IS NOT your always!!
Can you call Jer on Christmas and talk with him to say Merry Christmas and ask him what he got from Santa? Maybe write him a letter to him to read when he's older that tells him all the little things you love about him now and why you can't be with him and how much he is loved. Then you could mail it for him to get on Christmas and you could ask his guardians to save it for him? I guarantee you that he will cherish that letter as he gets older and he will know just how much you love him.
