an autistic child can be overwhelmed by to much stimuli. That is when meltdowns can a cure for him. When he is out until he can say more for him self try to provide yourself with soft music and soft lights.Think about the ways in your past that have helped the whole to calm down. that should give you a starting point. Also google autism that will give you a better understanding of the type of behaviors to look for in Conner. With love and understanding You will bring peace to Conner and yourself.

But with this one, I am clueless. First, I don't really know anything about him at all; second, and maybe more importantly, I have NO experience whatsoever with autistic children. I know some of you either have a child with a disability or mental illness or have had some experience with one. I would be GREATLY appreciative of any advice you can give me on how to help him Oh and (I know this my responsibility but) if you could maybe help me figure out what his purpose is? I think that would aid in understanding him better.
