One reason for blog comments to go into moderation is to keep the comments on topic. Another is to screen out nasty comments whether they have anything to do with the topic or not. It also keeps out spam advertising.
the UNDER MODERATION is a setting from the blog on which you were commenting.  Wait a day or two and recheck and see if the blog owner has reviewed your comment and allowed it to post in public.
