of course, i think any talking treatments can be discussed in this part of the forum, regardless of theory, technique, intensity, frequency etc.
I think imo that psychotherapy is a talk therapy that is intense goes deeper and more into the past where as counselling is more just focussed on solving the here and now problems. There are shorter therapies like solution based therapy, and cognitive therapy and then there are the long term therapy like psychodynamic and psychoanalytical therapy.
